About Us
Axomi24 – The Indigenous Story began in October 2021 as a Trust with a simple but powerful purpose: to create opportunities for women entrepreneurs and help their ideas, skills and enterprises find a larger platform.
What started with a focus on supporting women in entrepreneurship gradually evolved into a broader movement celebrating the indigenous identity, culture, creativity and community of Assam and Northeast India.
Over the years, Axomi24 The Indigenous Story has created platforms for artisans, weavers, designers, artists, entrepreneurs, food practitioners and cultural custodians to showcase their work and connect with wider audiences. Through exhibitions (Kalakriti – Exhibition cum Sale), workshops, cultural programs, storytelling, food experiences and community initiatives, the organization works to bring traditional knowledge and contemporary entrepreneurship together.
The journey has also taken Axomi24 The Indigenous Story beyond commerce and culture. Its community initiatives include environmental awareness programs, social outreach and humanitarian relief efforts, reflecting a larger belief that a thriving society is built by empowering its people and protecting its heritage.
Today, Axomi24 The Indigenous Story stands as a platform that connects people, culture, enterprise and community—with a special focus on giving indigenous voices and grassroots creators the visibility they deserve.
